Installation Guidelines

Professional installation only

Safety, precision, and compatibility are paramount. All MAXOTO performance products — throttle-response systems, engine-tuning modules, and electronic accessories — must be installed only by authorised and trained MAXOTO or DTE Systems-certified technicians. Unauthorised, self, or third-party installation voids the warranty and releases VMAX Autotech from responsibility.

• Technicians must disconnect vehicle power per OEM guidelines and never alter factory wiring.
• All connections must be secure and weather-proofed.
• Post-installation testing and calibration verification is mandatory.

Installation safety precautions

• Never install or remove a device with the ignition ON or the engine running.
• Route cables away from sharp edges, heat sources, and moving components.
• Maintain distance from high-voltage circuits and airbag modules.
• If any error code appears after installation, stop using the device immediately and contact support.

Software & calibration

Certain products require software calibration through the official MAXOTO App using authorised firmware only. Any software or hardware modification not approved by VMAX Autotech will invalidate all warranties and may breach local vehicle regulations.

What you need for warranty

Warranty eligibility requires installation by an authorised technician, retained proof of installation (job card, invoice, dealer stamp), and product serial-number registration at maxoto.com within 7 days of installation.

Liability & governing law

VMAX Autotech disclaims responsibility for damages, ECU errors, or driveability issues arising from incorrect installation or unauthorised alterations. These guidelines are governed by Indian law, with jurisdiction in the courts of New Delhi.
