Warranty Policy
Standard 1-year cover, extendable to 5 years on select products. What is covered, what is not, and how to claim.
Coverage duration
- Standard warranty: 1 year from the original date of purchase.
- Extended coverage: 2–5 years on select products, as specified on the packaging or website.
What’s covered
The policy protects against manufacturing defects, electronic malfunctions, and component failures under normal usage with proper installation. Repairs or replacements are made at the company’s discretion.
Eligibility requirements
- Installation by an authorised technician.
- Proof of purchase and installation records.
- Product registered within 7 days at maxoto.com.
- Serial number intact and untampered.
- No unauthorised modifications.
Missing registration within the timeframe may result in warranty denial.
Exclusions
Coverage does not apply to physical damage, water damage, corrosion, improper installation, incompatible vehicle use, electrical issues from incorrect wiring, unauthorised software modifications, accidents, racing use, normal wear, counterfeit units, or grey-market products.
Claim process
- Contact support with your serial number, purchase date, and a description of the issue.
- Our technical team assesses the claim.
- A Return Authorisation is issued if approved.
- We inspect and repair or replace at no cost.
- You pay shipping to the service centre; we cover return shipping.
Geographic scope & liability
The warranty is valid only in India for products officially distributed by VMAX Autotech Pvt. Ltd. Liability is limited to repair or replacement only and excludes vehicle downtime, towing, or consequential damages.
